Polydimethylsiloxane fluids are available in a variety of viscosities, ranging from low to high. Common viscosity grades include 50CS, 100CS, 350CS, 500CS, 1000CS, 2000CS, 5000CS, etc. In addition, there are higher viscosity grades such as 12500CS and 500000CS.

Polydimethylsiloxane, also known as dimethylsiloxane oil, appears as a colorless and transparent volatile liquid to a highly viscous liquid or silica gel depending on its relative molecular mass. It is odorless, highly transparent, heat-resistant, cold-resistant, has a small viscosity change with temperature, is waterproof, has a low surface tension, and has a thermal conductivity of 0.134-0. 159W/ (m-K), with a light transmittance of 100%, dimethyl silicone oil is non-toxic, odorless, physiologically inert and chemically stable. It has good electrical insulation and weather resistance, hydrophobicity, and high shear resistance, and can be used for a long time at temperatures ranging from -50°C to 200°C. It has excellent physical properties and can be directly used for moisture-proofing, damping, shock absorption, defoaming, lubrication, polishing, etc. It is widely used as an insulating lubricant, vibration absorber, oil and dust repellent, dielectric fluid and heat carrier. It is also used as a defoamer, mold release agent, paint and daily chemical additive.

Cosmetics

Low application, surface tension, easy application, and appropriate viscosity give personal care products a smooth and greasy feel, making the skin soft. Leather products

Polydimethylsiloxane can be used in fibers and leather: as a water repellent, softener, hand feel improver, defoamer in the dyeing industry, and lubricant for sewing thread. This emulsion can be applied to fatted leather, thereby enhancing its hydrophobicity, softness and comfort. It can be used to treat the surface of leather, improving wear resistance, water resistance and demolding property.

Brightener polymerization

Dimethylsiloxane, a whitening agent component suitable for automobiles, furniture, footwear, cement products, etc., including automotive brighteners, foam furniture cleaners, vinyl roof cleaners and whitening formulas for building materials, achieves the best effect with the least usage.

R-releasing agent polymerization

Dimethylsiloxane can be used as a mold release agent for rubber or plastic products (brake pads, screw heads, plugs, etc.) and EVA shoes. It can be directly diluted with low-hardness water at a ratio of 10 to 200 times. The product is highly efficient, stable and has extremely strong applications.

Lubricant

Polydimethylsiloxane can be used as a lubricant for extruded rubber products such as conveyor belts. It can be used as a lubricant for the following textile processes: yarn weaving, sewing thread lubrication, sock and underwear production, sewing needle lubrication, and glass fiber filters.
