Coating anti-corrosion mechanism and problems
The principle of anti-corrosion paint is that the film-forming substance (organic or inorganic) forms a protective coating on the surface of the substrate, blocking the penetration of water, oxygen, and corrosive substances (acids, alkalis, and salts) from the outside world.
Due to the nature of the coating material itself, conventional anticorrosion coatings are subject to various forms of damage during external use, which can lead to failure of the corrosion protection. These include chalking, cracking, rusting, chipping and peeling.
Technical advantages
1. Excellent weather resistance, corrosion resistance
2. Excellent resistance to acid, alkali, salt media performance
3. Suitable elasticity and elongation, adapt to external temperature changes and substrate deformation
4. Good adhesion, durable and effective protection for the substrate.
5. Unified bottom surface, low requirements for surface treatment of the substrate (St2 level can be)
6. Suitable curing time, short construction period.
7. Damage is easy to repair.
Product characteristics
Excellent weathering resistance, temperature change resistance
The high-energy bonding of the Si-O-Si skeleton in the main structure of the coating cannot be destroyed by UV and ozone, which brings the coating excellent weathering performance, and the outdoor service life is several times longer than that of other organic materials (except organic fluori ne).
No chalking, no cracking, no peeling, no shedding. Excellent salt spray resistance.
Good resistance to high and low temperatures, the use of temperature -40 ºC ~ 150 ºC.
Good recoatability, many times coated and cured as one, such as damage repair is convenient.
