Epoxidised soybean oil (epoxidized soybean oil, referred to as ESO), is a class of organic matter, chemical formula (RC2H2OR'COO)3C3H5, at room temperature for the light yellow viscous oily liquid. Non-toxic. Boiling point 150°C (0.53 kPa). Soluble in most organic solvents and hydrocarbons, insoluble in water. Has excellent heat resistance, light resistance and compatibility. Commonly used in polyvinyl chloride products as plasticiser, especially suitable for polyvinyl chloride transparent products, food packaging products and other non-toxic products.
